Experienced in Energy Analytics or Nodal Production Cost Modeling
Ability to apply advanced modeling to assess basis risk, congestion, curtailment, and long-term market value
Skilled in leading market studies, reviewing interconnection results, and managing consultant work
Capable of evaluating policy and market changes to ensure project assumptions remain current

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production cost models to analyze market dynamics, congestion, curtailment, and basis risk
Support project siting by coordinating with Grid Analysis and Interconnection teams to evaluate potential POIs
Conduct economic studies for project viability, revenue forecasting, and long-term value
Build price forecasting models incorporating fundamentals, transmission, and load/generation scenarios
Assess market rule changes, transmission upgrades, and retirements for project impacts
Provide reports and presentations to leadership for strategic decision-making
Collaborate with development, finance, and asset management to optimize portfolio performance
Review interconnection study results and coordinate with BD
