Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of professional experience in Computer Science, including experience building, managing, and coaching teams of software engineers and designers. Proven expertise with NodeJS and React is required, along with experience collaborating with Product Managers and project managing product development. Familiarity with current industry coding practices, design patterns, frameworks, and deployment and test automation is necessary. Experience building real-time trading UIs and working within Financial Services is also required.

Responsibilities

The Product Engineering Manager will build and manage a team of Full Stack Web Engineers working on the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, and other Product Engineering teams to execute the retail strategy and enhance the user experience. Responsibilities include managing a team of 5 full-stack engineers, fostering a high-performance culture, hiring and mentoring team members, defining and overseeing the development of crypto experiences for retail and sophisticated traders, and leading technical initiatives for product development.
