Requirements

7+ years experience in a trade support or system infrastructure role
Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
Knowledge of TCP/IP and Multicast
Strong Bash and core Python ability
Able to trace order event streams using logs and packet captures
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience monitoring and managing trading platforms across multiple markets
Experience monitoring and supporting Linux environments
Experience working in the trading industry with focus on supporting traders and trading infrastructure
Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical people to help drive business initiatives
Experience identifying and solving problems that most cannot
Experience working with trade teams assisting with on-boarding new opportunities
Experience with automation and process improvement

Responsibilities

Work directly with Development, Trading, and IT organizations to ensure that trading operations are optimized and healthy
Continuously improve ability to identify and resolve issues related to trading
Provide world-class support to traders
Help drive strategic projects across the firm, with a focus on improving trading operations and the technology that supports traders
