Requirements

  • Mechanical, Tooling design or Tooling engineering background
  • Over 5 years’ experience on tooling engineering, tooling design and focus on metal parts (Die-casting, Punching tooling and post-process such as CNC, Polishing, Anodizing, Electroplating)
  • Have project launch experience and skilled in FMEA, DOE, TA, SA, good trouble shooting capability
  • Have project management sense, smoothly in Chinese & English reading & writing & spoken
  • Have experience on the quality of Metal parts and post-process
  • Good communication and teamwork
  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • (Preferable) Quality experience & software operation

Responsibilities

  • Participates in NPI from product design review to Tooling DFM finalize; provide expertise on tooling, molding and mechanical design. Focus on metal mechanical parts
  • Tooling design review with ME and suppliers to ensure the tooling structure and MP stability
  • Contribution on tooling structure optimize, include tooling layout design, hot-runner design, tooling texture, tooling material selection and lead time negotiation
  • New 2nd tooling development and qualification
  • MP tooling sustaining and trouble shooting
  • Support production line on abnormal issues solving
  • Do routine audit for mechanical parts’ suppliers in Vietnam
