Requirements
Candidates should possess extensive hands-on experience managing machine learning teams building developer-facing platforms, APIs, or tools that support real-world AI product deployment at scale, and have successfully trained, fine-tuned, or distilled LLMs and traditional ML models to solve real-world business problems. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively connect with colleagues are also required.
Responsibilities
The TLM will architect and build next-generation system protections, directly contributing through hands-on design, model training, and deployment strategies, and lead and manage a small, senior team of Machine Learning Engineers, empowering them with clear direction and autonomy. They will also support their team's professional growth, collaborate closely with Research, Safety, Product, and Policy teams, establish robust evaluation frameworks and metrics, proactively improve developer productivity by resolving technical challenges, and write production-ready code to integrate the models into reliable and performant APIs.
