Requirements
- Ability to provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Capability to maintain merchandise presentation, including stocking, setting up displays, cleaning, organizing, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing, and securing merchandise
- Knowledge of company policies/procedures for handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
- Skills in receiving, stocking, organizing merchandise, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs/documentation
- Adherence to safety standards, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling/disposing hazardous materials, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations
- Proficiency in operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges for various membership/payment types
- Ability to assist with purchasing/service decisions, complete vehicle service requests/tests, operate Tire & Battery Center equipment safely, manage merchandise/supplies, and maintain paperwork
- Competence in maintaining/servicing automobiles, including driving vehicles in/out of bays, identifying/notating vehicle damage, following tire installation guidelines, performing services like repairing/replacing flats, balancing/rotating tires, testing/installing batteries, and using computer equipment
Responsibilities
- Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues/concerns, and promoting company products/services
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing merchandise, and securing fragile/high-shrink items
- Maintain the sales floor in Tire & Battery Center per company policies by handling claims/returns, zoning the area, arranging/organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
- Receive/stock merchandise, organize/maintain Tire & Battery Center by following procedures, using equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs/documentation
- Maintain facility safety by following safety standards/procedures/guidelines, conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling/disposing hazardous materials, steel standards, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Operate cash registers/equipment, process member purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges using appropriate procedures
- Provide products/services to members per company policies by assisting with decisions, completing vehicle service requests/tests, operating equipment safely, receiving/storing/disposing merchandise/supplies, and maintaining paperwork
- Maintain/service members' automobiles by driving cars in/out of bays, identifying/notating/informing about vehicle damage, following tire installation guidelines, performing additional services (e.g., repairing/replacing flats, balancing/rotating tires, testing/installing batteries), and operating computer equipment for services
