Requirements
- Ability to provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Knowledge of maintaining merchandise presentation, including stocking, setting up displays, cleaning, organizing, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing, and securing merchandise
- Skills in maintaining sales floor per company policies, handling claims/returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
- Proficiency in receiving, stocking, organizing merchandise, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs/documentation
- Adherence to safety standards, including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling/disposing hazardous materials, steel standards, and reporting unsafe situations
- Ability to operate cash registers/equipment, process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges for various membership/payment types
- Capability to assist with purchasing/service decisions, complete vehicle service requests/tests, operate Tire & Battery Center equipment safely
- Skills in receiving, storing, disposing of merchandise/supplies, and maintaining paperwork
- Experience maintaining/servicing automobiles: driving vehicles in/out of bays, identifying/notating vehicle damage, following tire installation guidelines, performing services like repairing/replacing flats, balancing/rotating tires, testing/installing batteries, operating computer equipment
Responsibilities
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues/concerns, and promoting company products/services
- Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing merchandise, securing fragile/high-shrink items
- Maintain Tire & Battery Center sales floor per company policies: handle claims/returns, zone area, arrange/organize merchandise, identify shrink/damages
- Receive/stock merchandise, organize/maintain Tire & Battery Center using company procedures, equipment, merchandising, paperwork/logs/documentation
- Ensure facility safety by following standards/procedures/guidelines: conduct safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handle/dispose hazardous materials, follow steel standards, correct/report unsafe situations
- Operate hardware like cash registers, process member purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges using appropriate procedures
- Provide products/services per company policies: assist purchasing/service decisions, complete vehicle service requests/tests, operate equipment safely, receive/store/dispose merchandise/supplies, maintain paperwork
- Maintain/service member automobiles: drive cars in/out of bays, identify/notate/inform of vehicle damage, follow tire installation guidelines, perform additional services (e.g., repair/replace flats, balance/rotate tires, test/install batteries), operate computer equipment for services
