JLPT N1 or N2 (mandatory)
Graduation in any subject (mandatory)
MBA from Tier 1 or 2 business school (preferred)
Business level proficiency in Japanese and English (reading and speaking)
Minimum 10+ years of bilingual consulting experience, including 2+ years of end-to-end SAP project implementation
Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA capabilities as a functional consultant in areas such as FI/CO/PP/SD/MM/PM
Experience with FI and Vertex tax engine (preferred/demonstrated unique offering)
Strong problem-solving skills to identify, escalate, track, and resolve issues
Effective presentation and communication skills
Strong analytical skills for clarity and data insights

Responsibilities

Lead team of functional consultants for design workshops, configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post go-live support
Drive design workshops, requirement gathering, solution design, and gap analysis (FIT-GAP) in S/4HANA areas like FI/CO/PP/SD/MM/PM
Demonstrate unique S/4HANA offerings and derive value in design, development, and implementation of business processes
Support business assessment and roadmaps for clients, providing advisory on S/4HANA transformations
Assist with end-to-end RFP solutions and proposal generation
Serve as SAP Finance functional consultant with Vertex tax engine experience
Engage with clients using bilingual capabilities to bridge language/cultural barriers, understand requirements, define solutions, articulate benefits, and develop roadmaps
Develop innovative solution designs leveraging service offerings
Support business development initiatives, shaping solution plans and delivery approaches for SAP transformations
Advise clients on SAP processes based on industry best practices
Analyze current business processes and identify improvement areas
Provide training and support to end-user teams on best practices
Ensure all client activities are documented and tracked
Participate in development of thought leadership content
