Job Description

Keywords Studios Montreal is seeking candidates who are fluent in Italian to join our video game linguistic testing team.

Candidate Pool Candidates who pass the selection process will be added to our candidate pool and contacted when work opportunities become available.

Main Tasks

• Proofread video game texts and content (spelling, syntax, typography).
• Verify text consistency and suggest changes where necessary.
• Write bug reports.
• Perform minor and simple translations.
• Ensure subtitles match audio tracks.

Requirements

• Fluency in Italian (spoken and written).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Please note that this position requires effective communication in English (oral and written) to maintain constant communication with clients and teams located outside the province of Quebec.
• Must reside in the Montreal area.
• Availability to work from home or the office as per project requirements.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or possess a valid work permit or be in the process of obtaining one).
• Ability to multitask while effectively managing time.
• Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touch screens).
• Interest in the video game industry.
• Experience in a relevant field or related to video games (an asset).
• Experience in a similar role (an asset).
