We’re looking for an experienced Senior Art Producer to manage and drive the success of our art teams, including Visual Development, Animation, 3D & 2D Art, Audio, and Technical Art. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, quality-driven, and collaborative production of all art assets across our projects. Working closely with the art leads and directors, designers, graphic and sound engineers, and production department, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging creative and technical processes, managing production timelines, and fostering thatgamecompany’s signature creativity and player-centric culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in art production/project management, focusing on art pipeline coordination within a game.
  • Proficiency with Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, AppScript) for data tracking and automation.
  • Intermediate to advanced Jira skills, with experience managing workflows, sprints, and task prioritization.
  • Solid understanding of art and game development processes from concept to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Resourcing:
    • Lead planning and scheduling of all art production tasks from initiation through post-deployment, ensuring alignment with medium- and long-term project goals and deadlines.
    • Work closely with art leads to monitor staffing needs, budgets, and timelines, promoting resource efficiency and prioritizing tasks across all project phases.
    • Utilize automation, scripts, and Jira to streamline tracking and reporting processes.
    • Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks or delays within the art production pipeline, collaborating with the team to troubleshoot, adjust plans, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Planning & Alignment:
    • Collaborate with senior management and art leads to develop and maintain medium- to long-term vision planning, staffing strategies, and roadmaps for the art department.
    • Partner with art leads to evaluate future project scope, break down design requirements, and identify cross-discipline dependencies and technical needs.
    • Establish and implement efficient production frameworks and processes to meet leadership goals and support TGC’s signature creativity.
    • Work closely with the creative director and art leads to ensure art assets meet quality standards and production timelines.
  • Communication & Team Support:
    • Advocate for the art team’s needs by providing management with solutions that balance creative quality and project goals.
    • Represent the art team’s interests in meetings and discussions.
    • Facilitate collaboration between the art team, design, production, and external partners, fostering a positive and cooperative environment.
    • Emphasize continuous learning and growth through retrospectives; gather and share feedback from the art team with other disciplines, promoting open communication and ongoing improvement.
