Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field (15 years full-time education)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in embedded systems testing or QA
  • Must have skills: Embedded Applications Testing
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interaction
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases (manual and functional testing)
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Good to have: Exposure to smartphone testing or similar embedded consumer electronics; Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr); Familiarity with Android/Linux-based systems; Knowledge of scripting (Python, Shell)

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and system-level testing of embedded devices
  • Understand product requirements and create detailed test cases and test plans
  • Execute manual test cases and report defects with clear documentation
  • Collaborate with development and hardware teams to reproduce and debug issues
  • Maintain test logs, reports, and documentation for traceability and compliance
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective
