Responsibilities

  • Sell products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill monthly/quarterly/annual revenue and unit growth objectives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies by analyzing factors like product, competition, and pricing needs for existing and potential accounts to promote products to hospital personnel and physicians
  • Develop action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with regional manager to achieve sales goals
  • Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues impacting product use by meeting with customers to understand their clinical needs, goals, and constraints
  • Observe procedures in hospital labs and operating rooms to gain insights into physicians' and lab staff's needs
  • Establish pricing packages by collaborating with Abbott Vascular personnel to meet customer needs while adhering to company guidelines
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel through conversations, meetings, and conference participation to drive new business
