  • Field-based position supporting MitraClip division in Structural Heart TEER (New Orleans/Baton Rouge territory)
  • Ability to work with Regional Director to identify/evaluate market opportunities, sales potential, and establish/achieve annual sales objectives
  • Capability to coordinate activities with clinical consultants and negotiate contracts with external customers
  • Knowledge to keep company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity
  • Skills in scheduling sales calls with current/potential customers to meet revenue/unit growth objectives (monthly/quarterly/annual)
  • Ability to develop/implement sales strategies considering product, competition, pricing, and needs of existing/potential accounts
  • Proficiency in developing action plans (weekly/quarterly/monthly) by analyzing sales figures/reports and discussing with regional manager
  • Competence in identifying key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues impacting product use
  • Experience meeting with customers to identify clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care
  • Ability to observe procedures in labs/operating rooms to understand physician/lab staff needs
  • Skill in establishing pricing packages with Abbott Vascular personnel per company guidelines/policies
  • Capacity to develop relationships with hospital personnel through conversations, meetings, and conferences

Responsibilities

  • Sell products by scheduling sales calls to meet revenue and unit growth objectives
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for existing/potential accounts to promote products to hospital personnel/physicians
  • Develop action plans by analyzing sales figures/reports and collaborating with regional manager to achieve sales goals
  • Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues affecting product use by meeting with customers
  • Observe procedures in hospital labs/operating rooms to gain insights into physician/lab staff needs
  • Establish pricing packages with Abbott Vascular personnel to meet customer needs and company policies
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel through casual conversation, meetings, and conference participation
  • Ensure assigned territory meets/exceeds sales objectives
