Requirements
- Previous experience in the role as Teradata Admin
- Strong proficiency in SQL scripting and Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU)
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and ensure operational continuity
- Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling
- Nice to have: Certifications such as Teradata Certified Professional are highly valued
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Administrate and manage the Teradata Data Warehouse during the production, testing and development
- Manage and monitor of security and users on a large scale
- Analyze, tune and optimize complex queries and ETL applications on large databases
- Manage custom tools for the integration of heterogeneous sources within the Data Lake (e.g., Teradata and Hadoop), both in on-premise and cloud environments
- Maintenance of scripts and applications using Shell and Python for the automation of recurring processes
