Requirements

  • 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months
  • Position primarily for current team members at this Tyson facility (transfers from other facilities via local HR Partner)
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation (e.g., climb stairs while carrying ingredients)
  • Basic math skills (adding and subtracting) to track pounds of ingredients
  • Applications considered from Washington, Benton, and Madison counties
  • Prior Tyson employees: 180-day waiting period to reapply; no more than three times worked at Tyson; 6-month wait after failed drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Operate the bagger machine: set up program, calibrate, and adjust parameters for desired bag size and weights
  • Perform regular checks on filled/sealed bags to ensure proper machine performance and adjust machine to meet product specifications
  • Ensure continuous flow of product through the production process and proper ingredients/supplies used on the line
  • Mix marination: ensure proper ingredients and quantities for formulas, maintain proper temperature per specifications
  • Fill out Quality Assurance verifications and use handheld scanning devices to manage inventory of ingredients
  • Notify supervisor if machinery requires maintenance
  • Maintain safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
