Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of accounting experience with a primary focus on reconciliations and schedule preparation, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, though not required. Strong MS Excel skills, proficiency in Power Point and Word, and the ability to identify problems, articulate solutions, and simplify financial information are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will prepare journal entries and account analyses, maintain documentation for tax purposes, perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations, conduct monthly SG&A expenses reviews, prepare Unilever intercompany account reconciliations, perform variance analyses, prepare monthly financial reports and trial balances, review month-end DTC revenue recognition, perform and record revenue transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements and reports related to revenue. They will also participate in internal and external audit engagements, assist in processing monthly and quarterly returns, and provide support for the month-end close process, as well as assist the Accounting Manager in other projects as needed.
