Requirements

Candidates must be a transitioning service member eligible for SkillBridge or a military spouse eligible for the Military Spouse Fellowship. A Bachelor's degree in social work or a behavioral health-related field, or an active RN license in Florida without disciplinary action is required. A minimum of one year of experience in social work or a behavioral health-related field, one year of experience with the pediatric population, and one year of case management experience are necessary. An ACHA Level II Background Check is also required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in a behavioral-health field, licensure in SW or BH, and CCM certification.

Responsibilities

The Telephonic Behavioral Health Care Manager Intern will assess and evaluate members' needs and requirements to optimize wellness, guiding them towards appropriate resources. Responsibilities include performing care management for pediatric members using ABA services, monitoring utilization, conducting outreach, and participating in interagency planning meetings. The intern will also refer members to Humana Valued Added Benefits and collaborate with external parties such as ABA providers, BH vendors, schools, and various state agencies.
