Knowledge of grid code compliance and network connection requirements
Ability to collect and analyze information on local electrical systems, design requirements, and network specifications
Experience in negotiations with local network providers
Capability to provide knowledge and opinions to internal teams (Offer Management, I&C, DN) on grid interconnection viability
Understanding of project management for grid connections
Skills in subcontracting electrical works

Proficiency in conducting analyses/audits to estimate connection process timelines and costs
Familiarity with contract management for electrical works
Knowledge of technical specifications for electrical works and grid requirements in design and construction contracts
Coordination skills with engineering teams for studies and simulations
Expertise in ensuring completion of tests and documentation for COD acceptance
Problem-solving abilities for technical and grid-related issues during construction and operation
Coordination with engineering and environment areas for optimal interconnection solutions
Ability to provide guidance to involved departments

Responsibilities

Follow the strategy to achieve project connections, prepare project plans, and monitor required results in coordination with the Engineering and Construction Directorate
Support negotiation of key connection agreements with the network provider, including pre-commercial operation test protocols
Establish and maintain relationships with key figures inside and outside ACCIONA
Carry out projects and tasks related to grid connection compliance
Coordinate/carry out subcontracting processes for electrical works in the area of competence
Verify technical and commercial viability of potential projects and existing plants regarding grid connection
Supervise/carry out analyses/audits to estimate connection process timelines and costs, with continuous monitoring
Coordinate management of electrical work contracts with Project Manager, contract administration, and project accounting teams to achieve objectives
Contribute to defining technical specifications for electrical works, prepare specific designs for projects, and identify grid requirements for design and construction contracts
Maintain coordination with Engineering to ensure studies and simulations meet connection requirements
Ensure all required tests and documentation are completed for compliance with the independent system operator, transmission service provider, or electricity company to achieve timely COD acceptance
Coordinate resolution of technical and grid-related problems during construction and operation phases
Maintain coordination with Engineering and Environment areas to identify the optimal interconnection solution
Provide guidance to departments involved in the connection process
