Requirements

Diploma in Engineering (+1 year relevant experience) or Advanced Certificate in Engineering (+3 years relevant experience)
5 years of experience in Manufacturing
Experience in medical devices environment preferred
Skilled in electronic circuit troubleshooting
Knowledge of chiller systems
Knowledge of power supply systems
Skilled in schematic reading and interpretation

Responsibilities

Execute planned preventive maintenance in a timely manner
Respond to unplanned equipment downtime to ensure operations safety, product quality, and machine performance
Handle technical tasks related to planning, designing, and implementing maintenance programs to optimize facility and equipment availability and productivity
Assist in coordinating maintenance engineering work and liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections, and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules
Review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications and assess new equipment designs for reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Make decisions within the scope of tasks, requiring advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance, continuous improvement, and regulatory requirements
