Requirements

Bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, journalism, computer science, or related field
5-7 years of experience writing and editing technical documentation
Proven experience creating documentation for cloud technologies and platforms
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong grammar and style knowledge
Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms (Confluence, Notion, Markdown, DITA, Git, content management systems)
Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and translate them for various audiences
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for cloud-based products and services
Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex cloud concepts and translate them into clear documentation
Research and stay updated on the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices
Write, edit, and proofread technical content with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency
Organize and structure complex information effectively for different target audiences
Utilize AI-powered tools to generate initial drafts of technical documentation
Create and maintain code samples, command-line instructions, and configuration examples
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure documentation aligns with product features
Conduct regular reviews of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement
Continuously improve documentation processes, tools, and templates
Assist in the development of training materials, video tutorials, and knowledge base articles
Stay up to date with security and compliance requirements related to cloud services
