Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience (3 years) in software testing, with a focus on test planning, execution, and automation
- Strong technical background
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
- Excellent leadership, communication, and social skills
- Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the testing effort throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, and reporting
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to define testing objectives, requirements, and priorities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans based on project requirements and specifications
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct manual testing as needed, including daily playthroughs, exploring different game scenarios, features, and functionalities to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement
- Implement and complete regression testing procedures to verify the stability and performance of game builds across various platforms and environments
- Document, track, and prioritize defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and validation of reported issues
- Develop and maintain automated test suites, harnesses, and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages to ensure efficient and effective testing coverage
- Design, complete, and analyze performance tests to identify bottlenecks, optimize game performance, monitor health, and enhance overall player experience
- Monitor and analyze test results, metrics, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Mentor and coach team members on testing standard methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance
