Requirements

  • Master degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Science or relatable)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within a cGMP environment in the biotech industry
  • Minimum three years of experience as a people manager
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a nice to have)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to take decisive action under time pressure
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and effectively integrate with external collaborators to drive projects/programs forward in a matrixed environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line troubleshooting support to operations by addressing and resolving manufacturing issues
  • Manage, lead and coach a team of technical specialists
  • Ensure first line support to operations by leading and owning the RRT (rapid response team) business process
  • Drive robust and consistent resolution and escalation of process issues while ensuring batch quality and adherence to procedures and instructions
  • Support internal and external regulatory audits, manufacturing investigations and change controls
  • Provide technical and operational support to tech transfers and process improvements
  • Lead and/or support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong working relationships with local and global stakeholders
  • Actively drive the development and growth of the team of technical specialists
