Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading and delivering Java-based software development projects, along with proven ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and customer needs, strong communication skills, and experience managing multiple concurrent projects or portfolios in dynamic environments. They must have experience providing project management in the government contracting services space and dealing with a variety of stakeholders at various levels of project engagement, as well as experience with Agile collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

The Technical Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project management and delivery, including collaborating with cross-functional technical teams, supporting Requirements Definition, Security, Data, and DevOps groups, managing multiple small teams (6-8 personnel total), conducting people management duties such as performance reviews, overseeing initiatives from inception to completion, creating and managing delivery schedules and release plans, identifying and implementing process improvements, tracking and resolving program-level issues and impediments, facilitating collaboration across internal teams, partners, and various stakeholders, and participating in program-level communication and reporting.
