Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineering/Technical Program Manager
  • Hands-on experience with delivering and launching LLMs and enterprise solutions
  • Familiarity with SDLC, specific to models
  • Technically aware of requirements around model security, governance, deployment, with a deep understanding of cloud service providers (CSP) and demonstrated strong experience with utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, and other similar platforms
  • Data driven, with a strong understanding of (or curiosity to learn) financial modeling
  • Capable of cross-functional collaboration to make business decisions based on GPU efficiency and instance utilization
  • Independent, self-sufficient, and has a strong desire (or curiosity) to automate processes
  • Knowledge of (or interest in) LLM and token business

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, timely, and consistent updates across engineering, leadership, and non-technical teams on the monthly container releases and major LLM model launches
  • Develop new practices and structures to better scale release management across all cloud partner platforms including Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Cohere’s platform
  • Track releases and lead the release artifact management for AWS, Azure, Oracle, and Cohere’s platform
  • Work closely with Cohere’s platform engineering teams and modelling teams on model launches across platforms and partner platforms
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional alignment for all major releases and updates (fully own the scheduling, coordination, quality control, and deployment process)
  • Track all technical bugs and liaise with engineering and the partner platforms to ensure that all bugs are addressed and fixes are delivered within SLAs
  • Coordinate across all disciplines to ensure release plans, marketing, branding, quality control, and other key stakeholders are considered and executed properly for each release
  • Manage partner requests by bringing opportunities and partner requests, coordinating timelines, and triaging processes with various internal teams to deliver in a timely manner
  • Ensure on-time delivery, track progress, and establish checkpoints for success
  • Proactively resolve issues, coordinate dependencies, and prioritize impacts to quality and timelines
