Technical Program Manager (TPM) - Cloud Migration

Position Overview

Kunai is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead a critical cloud migration initiative for a client. This role involves migrating hundreds of applications and multiple lines of business to a modern AWS account structure, a key step in the client's tech modernization journey. The TPM will work collaboratively with business leaders, product managers, engineers, and architects to define, prioritize, and execute the migration roadmap, ensuring successful and timely completion.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the planning and delivery of large-scale application migrations to AWS.
  • Coordinate across development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to remove roadblocks and maintain project momentum.
  • Own end-to-end program management, including tracking milestones, identifying risks, and reporting on progress.
  • Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for cloud migration planning and execution.
  • Solve cross-team challenges with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise cloud standards and long-term technology goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing large-scale technical programs with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and enterprise cloud account structures.
  • Experience with the software delivery lifecycle, program/project management, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across product, business, and engineering teams to drive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ownership mindset: proactive, collaborative, and impact-driven.
  • Industry experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise technology is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $120,000 - $205,000 annually. This range is a base salary expectation and may vary based on experience, skills, location, and client billing.
