3 to 6 months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Industrial Maintenance Technician apprenticeship or equivalent from a recognized community college or trade school (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems with production equipment
Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment
Assist Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering Services personnel as necessary with escalated issues
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering Services, Maintenance, and VEGA Germany to resolve Manufacturing equipment problems
Train Production personnel on proper use of tools and equipment
Accompany third party technicians when Maintenance is unavailable
International travel, as required
