Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years in Technical Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles, with proven Linux/Unix system administration and advanced troubleshooting capabilities. Deep experience managing complex Web3 infrastructures, skilled in interpreting blockchain logs, JSON-RPC responses, and debugging intricate Web3 protocol issues is required. Solid hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools like Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and Consul, including containerization expertise with Docker and Kubernetes, is essential. Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript, and advanced experience with monitoring and analytics platforms like Grafana and DataDog are necessary. A strong track record in defining, measuring, and maintaining SLAs/SLOs, and experience with incident response tooling and processes like PagerDuty are also required. Willingness to travel up to 10 days per year is expected.
The Technical Operations Engineer will lead the deployment, optimization, and operational management of new blockchain networks, conducting thorough testing and benchmarking. They will address high-impact Web3 incidents through rigorous troubleshooting, detailed log analysis, and direct coordination with blockchain foundations. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using advanced dashboards, and defining, implementing, and enforcing service-level objectives (SLOs) and agreements (SLAs). The role involves implementing automation solutions to streamline deployments and optimize cloud infrastructure, actively collaborating with support, infrastructure, and development teams, and participating in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule to address critical system incidents.
