Requirements

- Ability to ensure Development teams autonomously consume platform-level components

- Knowledge of staying up to date with latest trends in developer tools, platforms, and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead/Build a team dedicated to improving developers' experience through automation of technology and compute platform components in lower and production environments
- Develop and implement a strategy to enhance developer experience across the organization, including infrastructure services for working from anywhere
- Ensure stream/product aligned teams complete work with substantial autonomy
- Lead the creation and adoption of a shared service for CI/CD pipeline platform components to improve development workflows and automate provisioning of lower environments
- Partner with Development teams to create a shared, self-service library of platform components
- Partner with Development teams to create repeatable CI/CD pipelines and pipeline classes using common templates
- Collaborate with Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to create and support lower environments that improve developer experience while maintaining IP security
- Champion complete build and production support automation and foster a culture of automation at platform layers
- Build observability into build chains, CI/CD pipelines, and automations of all environments
- Collaborate with Build/DevOps/SRE Engineers to create and support CI/CD pipelines and templates
- Productize and maintain a library of versioned platform components and orchestration scripts
- Create or standardize test cases in CI/CD pipelines for platform components, operational readiness, architectural understanding, UX for IDP, or similar
- Establish metrics and monitor platform products to measure developer satisfaction and productivity
