Requirements

  • Proficiency with APIs, telecom systems (e.g. SIP, WebRTC, call routing), and cloud platforms
  • Comfortable writing and debugging code in Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Ability to architect how Telnyx fits into a customer’s broader tech stack and anticipate integration challenges
  • Ability to untangle technical puzzles and build solutions that stick
  • Comfortable diving into packet captures and leading technical onboarding calls with a CTO
  • Thrive in dynamic, high-autonomy environments where each customer is different and the playbook evolves daily
  • 2+ years in a technical role—implementation engineering, customer engineering, solutions architecture, or similar capacity

Responsibilities

  • Own technical implementation end-to-end: Lead onboarding for customers, translating their goals into technical success and custom configuration on the Telnyx platform
  • Develop solutions: Integrate SIP trunks with cloud PBXs or optimize webhook delivery pipelines, solving customer challenges using code, configuration, and creativity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Solutions Engineers, Product, and Support to ensure customer success through deployment and beyond
  • Deploy with impact: Support businesses in real-time communications, AI innovation, and more
  • Continuously improve: Use customer feedback, onboarding metrics, and insights to iterate on the implementation process and scale technical onboarding playbooks
