Requirements

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 10 years of demonstrable experience in support of a large client-server based IT enterprise (or 15 years experience without degree)
Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks
Skills to install, configure, and support high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre (configuration, tuning, testing, advanced troubleshooting)
Advanced level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xCAT, failover software, and compilers
Working knowledge of HPC MPP systems
Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of distributed computing tools such as RES, LSF, and SLURM
Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of RedHat and Suse operating systems
Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design
Experience creating system diagrams and presenting high-level presentations to management
Experience with packet capture software
Valid Red Hat Certified System Administrator or higher, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week in Ft. Meade, MD 20755 (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

Support design, implementation, and sustainment of high-performance computing (HPC) environments
Provide expertise in network design, advanced troubleshooting, and system integration across Linux, Windows, and UNIX infrastructures
Install, configure, and support datacenter network devices including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs
Configure, tune, test, and perform advanced troubleshooting of high-performance file systems (XFS, GPFS, Lustre)
Perform advanced troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and applications (Nagios, xCAT, failover software, compilers)
Configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot distributed computing tools (RES, LSF, SLURM)
Configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot RedHat and Suse operating systems
Design enterprise boundary and datacenter security architecture
