  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, including site configuration, list/library management, and integration with Power Platform
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Design Thinking, or other structured methodologies to implement process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and effectively process GM Engineering Standards that are globally accepted
  • Follow standard work to process GM Engineering Standards from initiation to publication
  • Produce high quality documents that comply with departmental and Global Product Engineering requirements
  • Work closely with authors and the global functional teams by providing technical expertise and process guidance and manage all aspects of the record lifecycle
  • Proactively address issues
  • Develop GM Engineering Standards that support engineering designs (including subsystems), engineering tests, product specifications and development programs
  • Communicate, coordinate, and consult with engineering departments and customers to insure a customer service-based department
  • Manage customer inquiries
  • Work with global teams to collaborate and obtain consensus on engineering processes and the development of standards
  • Creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including guidelines, procedures, and best practices related to their area of expertise
  • Offering technical expert guidance to teams and individuals facing challenges related to their area of expertise
  • Actively participating in project teams, providing insights and expertise to ensure a successful project outcome
  • Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and providing actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead and facilitate projects and workshops to improve process efficiency (project charter/framing, data collection, analysis, improvement opportunities, pilot if needed, and implementation plan)
  • Engage cross-functional teams and optimize processes and tools to align engineering processes in Global Product Development (GPD)
