Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of experience in technical delivery leadership, with a strong focus on data migration and platform modernization. Deep specialization in migrating on-premises and legacy database systems to modern cloud platforms is critical, along with significant experience leading complex ETL migrations, data warehouse re-platforming, and end-to-end data platform modernization.
The Migrations Technical Delivery Director will lead a team of technical Consulting Managers and Solutions Architect Teams to deliver Snowflake Professional Services offerings, specifically focused on large-scale data platform migrations and modernization initiatives. They will develop and execute a strategic business plan to meet Professional Services objectives, act as a technical thought leader, create financial forecasts, and standardize delivery processes. Furthermore, the role involves leading complex engagements, engaging with customers and partners at executive levels, and driving customer satisfaction and delivery quality through successful migration outcomes.
