Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, English (or related field preferred) or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and coding languages (Bootstrap preferred but not required)
  • Experience with help authoring tools or platforms (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with Agile software development
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, formatting, spelling, and proofreading
  • English writing skills for global customer audience
  • Ability to simplify and break down complex technical steps into easy-to-understand content
  • Ability to write independently or collaboratively
  • Researching, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule in Pune/Mumbai with shift timing 5 PM IST to 2 AM IST (to accommodate US Eastern time zone)

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain ConnectWise product documentation
  • Design and develop documentation deliverables to support product releases such as Release Notes, Roadmap information, Requirements, email communications, and in-app messaging
  • Work and attend meetings with cross-departmental teams (Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other Post-Sales teams) to ensure successful product releases and represent documentation and education needs
  • Respond to partner and colleague requests for documentation needs
  • Assist other teams and departments with reviewing and editing company documentation and materials
  • Support the ConnectWise mission and vision through the lens of documentation and education
  • Write content for in-app messaging, product release communications, UI/UX verbiage, and content reviews
