Requirements

B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred)
Experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
Experience establishing technical architectures and best practices
Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams
Experience mentoring technical associates
Experience with TypeScript, Angular framework
Experience with Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud framework
Experience with databases and SQL
Experience with test automation frameworks
Experience with AWS services
Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins
Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub

Responsibilities

Develop and improve software applications using Java, Spring, and Angular using agile methodology
Develop Angular-based User Interfaces (UIs) and deploy Java-based middle tier services to AWS
Analyze and recommend changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies
Practice Agile methodology as Squad Tech Lead, assigning tasks/stories from product team backlog
Create, design, develop, and maintain technical solutions
Collaborate with Squad Leader and team members to deliver quality solutions
Define and implement application-level architecture
Perform independent and complex technical evaluation and functional analysis for multiple projects
Improve performance and scalability of applications and workflows
Deliver time-to-market solutions
Participate in UXD design, production support, and client onboarding solutions
Recommend development testing tools and methodologies; review and validate test plans
Ensure quality assurance (QA) readiness of software deliverables
Develop comprehensive documentation
Act as primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues
Provide technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives
Advise senior management on technical strategies
Mentor junior team members
