Requirements

8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Strong proficiency in .NET
Experience with Azure
Experience with React and Next.js
Experience with scalable system architecture and microservices
Solid understanding of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing practices
Ideally previous experience in fintech industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in agile environments
Background in mentoring or coaching engineers
Building secure, scalable web apps
Strong grasp of API integration and data modelling
Comfort with iterative delivery, trunk-based development, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing
Experience with RBAC/authorisation, audit/logging, and handling PII
Collaborative mindset; able to work with Product, UX and Compliance SMEs
Nice-to-haves: AML/KYC or regulated-industry portals; case/workflow systems
Nice-to-haves: Experience integrating with Reapit/MM/Land Registry and KYC providers (Credas/CallVal)
Nice-to-haves: Observability (metrics/tracing), performance tuning, accessibility
Delivery Lead: Enterprise stakeholder management, cross-stream planning, risk/issue management, reporting cadence
UX/UI Designer: design system alignment, accessible forms/tables, prototypes/usability testing

Responsibilities

Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable systems
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Define and enforce engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architectural guidelines
Conduct code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a strong engineering culture
Identify technical risks and bottlenecks, and propose solutions proactively
