Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4-5 years of driving experience in a similar role
HazMat training and certification
Minimum of 6 months employee supervision or management experience
Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL B) and a clean driving record
Experience with routine vehicle maintenance
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
Familiarity with Universal Precautions and general laboratory procedures
Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs, push loads of up to 100 lbs
Ability to work in cold settings for prolonged durations and adapt to diverse environments (e.g., dry ice, liquid nitrogen cryogenics, hazardous materials)
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

Acquire assignments, prepare paperwork, and inspect equipment prior to departure
Safely transport biological materials, maintaining required temperatures
Daily supervision and training of other drivers, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines
