Requirements

  • Candidates must live within 50 miles of the Tempe, Arizona office
  • In-office presence required at Tempe corporate office for in-person coaching, cross-functional collaboration, and immediate problem-solving
  • Periodic domestic and international travel to DoorDash offices and partner sites
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year or more of people management or team lead experience
  • Experience with adjudications, case work, and government documents
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets); Google Sheets preferred
  • Experience pulling and using data to influence decisions
  • Mind and talent for process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage frontline agents responsible for providing high-quality care to Dashers
  • Manage day-to-day operations while maintaining and improving quality and productivity metrics
  • Become an expert on team workflows, act as a main point of escalation, unlock process efficiencies, and share best practices
  • Foster collaboration, develop talent, and solve problems in real time
  • Lead a team focused on customer success to deliver on operational KPIs
  • Support the team by being present and approachable, answering questions, hosting weekly 1-on-1 and team meetings, and providing real-time feedback
  • Establish and manage individual and team goals/objectives and communicate performance to management and stakeholders
  • Coordinate daily workflow assignments and adjust resources to meet service level agreements
  • Operate as a Subject Matter Expert by creating, distributing, and presenting performance reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Help scale the team and department to keep up with DoorDash's growth
