Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of progressive experience in tax advisory services, with a strong focus on individual and small business tax planning. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required, and demonstrated expertise in estate, gift, and charitable tax planning is essential. Strong knowledge of US tax laws and regulations is necessary, along with experience in fiduciary tax planning.
As a Tax Lead Advisor, you will build and maintain a personal relationship with clients, serving as their technical tax expert on their planning team, assisting clients by attending meetings and delivering tax plans, supporting the financial advisory team in tax planning functions, and actively participating in signing and onboarding new clients to the firm. You will also provide high-quality tax and planning advice using a consultative approach, demonstrating a deep understanding of client goals and objectives.
