CPA certification (active or in progress) required
4+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent
Advanced knowledge of Federal and State income tax laws and principles applicable to individual and business taxation
Strong time management and organizational skills

Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, including S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, and individual returns
Perform a detailed first-review on returns prepared by Staff and Senior Associates
Ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance standards
Develop and review income tax projections and estimates for clients
Aid in client financial planning
Conduct tax research
Prepare technical memoranda on complex issues
Communicate findings clearly and readably
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal teams
Offer expertise and strategic insights on tax matters
Mentor Staff and Interns
Provide guidance on tax issues and professional growth opportunities
Communicate with federal and state authorities as needed
Handle notices and inquiries with professionalism
Continuously develop skills and expertise in specific tax areas
Contribute to the firm’s overall knowledge base
Maintain open communication with management regarding project progress
Ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments
