Tanium Engineer (Active TS Clearance)

• Description: True Zero Technologies is seeking a Tanium Engineer to provide services for a Department of Defense (DOD) customer. This role involves designing, configuring, deploying, operationalizing, administering, and optimizing Tanium in a distributed and complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong DoD industry experience and expertise in endpoint security, troubleshooting, and incident response. They will also be involved in customer advisement and use case implementation.

Requirements

• Active TS Clearance: Required
• U.S. Citizenship: Required
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Tanium experience
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience implementing, deploying, and operationalizing Tanium and Tanium use cases.
  • Understanding of engineering life cycle management.
  • Knowledge and experience in utility scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, VBScript)
  • Hands-on experience with system automation and integration.
  • Operational experience in software deployment and vulnerability management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide architect, administration, and engineering engagements on the Tanium platform for a DOD customer.
• Understand use case requirements and operationalize them in Tanium.
• Interact with Tanium technical account managers for support when needed.
• Implement and maintain Tanium solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Advise customers on Tanium best practices.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of Tanium processes.

• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
• Location: 2-3 days per week on-site in McLean, VA
