Systems Programmer (Web)

• SDS is hiring for a Systems Programmer (Web) to join an established team in Dahlgren, VA. The Systems Programmer (Web) will design, build, and support web pages using SharePoint 2013.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and sustain a Website for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.
• Collect requirements from the Government for a Public and Private Website.
• Coordinate with web content providers to ensure technical feasibility, providing technical site maintenance and advice on web site animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, and graphics.
• Develop Dash Boards for metrics, status updates, Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for items related to Cyberspace Workforce (CSWF), Data Calls, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support, and decision making.
• Prepare technical documentation and processes for the support of the web sites.

Requirements

• Experience: Five (5) years of experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Security Clearance: Active DoD SECRET clearance.
• SharePoint Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of SharePoint.
• Tools Knowledge: Must have advanced knowledge of Site Designer, InfoPath, and Custom Web Parts.
• Programming Skills: Experience programming in HTML with JavaScript and CSS is highly desirable (but not required).
• Certifications: Microsoft Certification in Web Applications or SharePoint Application Certification is desirable (but not required).
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
