Currently studying towards a degree in an Engineering, Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Maths, Technology, Computing or General Science discipline
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (security clearance requirements)
Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

Work within Systems Design functions to design Complex Weapons capabilities for UK and partner nation Armed Forces across Air, Land, Maritime and Cyber domains
Complete a placement on a project at any stage, from future capabilities to in-service products
Understand the make-up of a missile or weapon system, from warhead to seeker and wider components
Apply the Systems Engineering ‘V’ model across the product lifecycle, including researching future technologies and novel domains
Develop requirements and functional architectures
Create concept solutions through Agile methodologies
Analyse performance and conduct trade space studies
Conduct verification and validation through trials and lab tests
Gain exposure to various technologies, engineering methodologies, and customer needs
Integrate as a team member, assuming increasing responsibility on varied, fast-paced projects
Collaborate with engineering fields, business teams, suppliers, customers, and international colleagues
