Position Overview

Acronis is revolutionizing cyber protection by providing natively integrated, all-in-one solutions that monitor, control, and protect the data critical to businesses and lives. We are seeking a passionate Cloud Platform Engineer to join our EMEA team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for scripting, coding, automation, and implementing "Infrastructure as Code" practices. You will need a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and expertise in automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD) and the development cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Senior System Engineers and DevOps professionals to ensure smooth operation and high availability of production systems.
  • Maintain infrastructure, configuration, and monitoring using "Infrastructure as Code" practices.
  • Create, extend, and improve delivery and development processes and systems.
  • Participate in the deployment and maintenance phases of software.
  • Join the Incident Management roster, covering on-call shifts and troubleshooting production incidents.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or at least 1 year as a DevOps/SRE Engineer.
  • Strong Linux administration skills.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting.
  • Experience in automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Biceps).
  • Solid understanding of the network stack, including NGINX, DNS, DHCP, PXE, and the differences between firewall, routing, and NAT.
  • Familiarity with the principles of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles.
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of provisioning and orchestration systems.
  • English proficiency (at least upper-intermediate level).
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with international teams.
