Responsibilities

The Senior System Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This includes researching and developing innovations for the infrastructure, ensuring system adherence to organizational values, and providing guidance to new system administrators. Key duties involve monitoring, patching, and managing server infrastructure services, designing and engineering IT security services and processes, and performing general technical troubleshooting. The role also includes supporting incident discussions and resolutions, maintaining technical documentation for audits, and developing and deploying enterprise security plans. The administrator will ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of defined standards, provide 7x24 support when required, and work collaboratively with teams and vendors.
