Requirements

Candidates must possess familiarity with video technology and other technical concepts, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and proven experience in a customer-facing technical support role, ideally within a SaaS environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and a strong technical aptitude for quickly learning new technologies. Experience with omni-channel support and ticketing systems like Zendesk is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Support Specialist II will provide high-level support to Sales Assisted and Self Serve customers via tickets, phone calls, and messaging platforms, owning issues from first response to resolution, and contributing to self-serve customer support when possible. They will develop expertise in Vimeo's Platform and Video product area, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and driving product success. The role involves becoming a dedicated Enterprise Support Specialist (DESS) for a portfolio of Platinum SA clients, building relationships and understanding their specific needs, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve support processes and knowledge resources. Additionally, the Specialist will work with internal teams to drive customer issues to closure and manage outages, updating the status page and informing the global Support team.
