Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and five years of related work experience in supply chain or logistics discipline preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics-related function
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Superior understanding of Supply Chain Logistics processes and strategy
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus
  • Experience in driving change and transforming organizations through analyzing and improving high level/strategic processes
  • Deliberate and structured way of thinking resulting in effective cross-functional delivery
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) able to work with various audiences, partners and Senior Leaders
  • Experience in the project management domain to know when and how to leverage tools and techniques to effectively coach teams
  • Presentation skills

  • SAP knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manages the execution and implementation of detailed program or project plans in concert with internal and external stakeholders
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders and logistics service providers, and third-party vendors during the requirements, solutions design and implementation phases to develop detailed project plans for implementation
  • Manages the program project from scoping, business case and requirements through deployment for an end-to-end project or specific area of a project
  • Works on risk assessment, communication planning, development of performance metrics, and project entry criteria
  • Creates detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion
  • Oversees stakeholder expectations and provides issue/risk identification and escalation pathways
  • Supervises the implementation team of cross-functional project resources
  • Implements governance to ensure effective exchange of information between project stakeholders, senior management, and staff
  • Resolves complex project issues that involve representatives from multiple organizations
  • Escalates issues to management which cannot be resolved at the program project level
  • Leads complex transformative logistics programs
  • Anticipates strategic needs and impacts on overall business model
