Requirements

  • English language skills both oral and written are mandatory
  • Fluent in Dutch is preferred; proficiency in any other European language is beneficial
  • Experience with supply chain operations, ideally within telecoms or consumer electronics in the Dutch market
  • Experience with inventory management, fulfillment strategies, and supplier performance metrics
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation
  • Act as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote role
  • Experience in cost control, especially managing Cost of Claim against budget
  • Experience with volume allocation based on supplier performance and cost efficiency
  • Interpret plans and support change implementation
  • Comfortable using data to inform decisions and improve supply chain processes
  • Familiarity with telecoms industry dynamics, especially device servicing and trade-in programs

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of reference for existing and prospect Insurance and Trade In programs in The Netherlands
  • Manage the network of suppliers that service devices, privileging certain suppliers depending on performance and quality, and ensuring that strategies for fulfillment are clear and shared with the business
  • Negotiate prices and process with such suppliers, awarding volumes based on performance and cost
  • Manage the stock of devices Assurant hold for replacement purposes
  • Understand important reasons for business change and support implementation
  • Ensure that Cost of Claim is following the budgeted cost plan
