Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of IT experience working with supply chain technologies
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), such as FDA regulations for pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Solid knowledge of Computer System Validation process
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex IT issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Strong customer service and communication skills to maintain high end-user satisfaction
  • Proficiency in handling IT incidents, problems, configuration, and change/release management

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, manufacturing, quality) and IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with strategic business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as Tech@Lilly key contact SME for Foundry supply chain IT systems
  • Leverage understanding of functional business processes to enable key area stakeholders to meet business outcomes
  • Accurately translate business processes into technical terms and vice versa
  • Produce and maintain project and validation documentation
  • Ensure systems remain in a validated state and manage their lifecycle through releases, recapitalization, and retirement
  • Ensure incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management are accomplished in alignment with business needs
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain and site Tech at Lilly teams to implement integration solutions between systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP eWM, MES, LIMS, QMS, AGVs, and additional systems
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional IT support to end-users and addressing their needs promptly
  • Interact with supply chain business leads and global Tech@Lilly support functions to assist with the implementation of supply chain IT systems such as ERP, Cold Chain, inbound and outbound clinical supply chain systems, and scheduling and planning solutions
