Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment. They should demonstrate strong ability to manage complexity, including experience with multiple ERP systems, and possess a solid understanding of accounting concepts and practices with a proven track record of driving financial performance.
The Senior Supply Chain Accountant will oversee monthly closing processes, ad hoc reporting/analytics, monthly forecasts, and annual budgets to drive financial performance, utilizing advanced reporting and forecasting tools to deliver insights and enhance existing processes. They will prepare cost accounting analyses and maintain strong internal financial controls, ensuring compliance with SOX and corporate policies, and lead annual standard costing updates. The role involves acting as a financial business partner to the plant manager and leadership team, providing decision support that drives financial metric improvement and profitable growth, collaborating with Supply Chain teams across International Markets to identify savings opportunities, and supporting capital investment initiatives. Additionally, they will manage accounting procedures related to operations, including G/L maintenance, accruals, and inventory control, leading network-wide improvements by developing standard work and processes, and fostering a culture of financial accountability.
