Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an operations environment, along with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. They must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including an understanding of company policies and procedures, and proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with a solid grasp of inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. Furthermore, candidates should be dependable and personable team players with experience working with both internal and external stakeholders, and possess data-driven problem-solving skills with experience utilizing excel or similar sheets, along with comfort in multitasking and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor will manage the safety, staffing, training, and overall performance of hourly employees, monitor staff productivity and assign tasks as needed, lead from the front by owning all aspects of on-site operations, logistics, and product processing while maintaining quality and balancing throughput and cost, own and deliver on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Throughput, and service KPI’s, act as a knowledgeable resource for team members, ensure proper procedures are followed and devise techniques to improve team efficiency, lead by example and champion company policies, and work independently with partnering with other shift supervisors.
